- Blood for Complete blood count.
- Urine R/M/E and C/S
- Plain x-ray of KUB region.
- USG of KUB region.
- Cystoscopy.
Treatment of UTI.
A. Supporative treatment:
- Diet: Normal diet with plenty of fluid intake.
- Frequent emptying of bladder
- Maintenance of personal Hygiene.
- If high rise of temperature : Tepid sponging all over the body.
B. Specific Treatment :
- Broad spectrum antibiotics according to culture sensitivity report:
- Ciprofloxacin
- or
- Cefuroxime
- or
- Ampicillin
